What you're getting
Mixing is where your song becomes a song.

Recording captures the raw material. Mixing is where everything gets shaped into something that actually moves people. Every level decision, every EQ curve, every effect — that's mixing. Done right, it's invisible. You just feel it.

I'm not running your session through a preset chain. I'm listening to what the song needs and building the mix around it — then mastering it myself so the whole thing stays consistent through to delivery.

That's the difference between mixing and mastering as separate services versus having one engineer take it all the way through. I know what I'm going for in the mix because I'm the one finishing it.

🎚
Levels and balance
Every element — kick, bass, vocal, guitars, synths — gets placed in the right spot so nothing fights and nothing disappears.
🎛
EQ and compression
Shaping each track so it sits cleanly in the arrangement. Cutting what clutters, bringing forward what counts.
🌊
Space and dimension
Reverb, delay, stereo placement — building a sense of space that feels intentional, not accidental.
Master included
Every package ends with a streaming-ready master — LUFS targeted for your genre, true peak limited, delivered in 24-bit WAV and MP3.
How it works
Simple process, personal attention
1
Export and label your stems
Export each track as a separate WAV or AIFF file, all the same length. Label them clearly — kick, snare, lead vocal, etc. Export guide here if you need it.
2
Upload and tell me about the song
Send your stems via Dropbox or WeTransfer. Include reference tracks, the vibe you're going for, and anything about the song I should know going in.
3
I mix and master it personally
Every session gets a full listen before I touch anything. I'll flag any issues — timing, tuning, audio quality — upfront rather than mixing around them.
4
Delivery within your turnaround window
You get a mixed and mastered 24-bit WAV plus MP3, both streaming-ready. Send revision notes if anything needs adjusting — revisions are included.

How to prep your stems for the best result

Well-prepped stems mean less time fixing problems and more time making the mix sound exactly how you want it.

📁
Export each track separately
One WAV file per instrument or element. Kick, snare, hi-hat, bass, lead vocal, backing vocals — each on their own. All the same length, starting from bar 1.
🏷
Label everything clearly
Name files descriptively: "Lead_Vocal.wav", "Kick.wav", "Lead_Guitar.wav". Clear labels mean I can get into the session faster and spend more time on the mix itself.
🔇
No effects on the master bus
Remove any limiters, compressors, or EQ from your master bus before exporting. Leave headroom — peaks around –6 dBFS is ideal. I'll handle the master bus processing.
🎵
Keep your session effects
Track-level effects are fine — reverb, delay, compression on individual tracks. Export with those printed in unless you want me to work with dry signals.
📎
Send reference tracks
2–3 songs that sound like what you're going for. Released tracks on streaming work perfectly. The more context I have going in, the fewer revisions you'll need.
💬
Tell me about the song
Genre, vibe, what you want to feel when you hear it. "I want the vocal sitting right on top" or "I want the low end to hit hard" — that kind of context shapes every decision.

Common questions
Mixing & Mastering — FAQ
Mixing is where your individual tracks — vocals, drums, bass, guitars, synths — get balanced and shaped into a cohesive stereo file. Mastering takes that finished stereo mix and optimises it for loudness, translation across playback systems, and streaming delivery. Both are included in every package here.
WAV or AIFF, 24-bit, at your session sample rate. Export each track as a separate file, all the same length from bar 1. Remove any processing from your master bus — leave that to me. Track-level effects are fine to leave in. Clear file names (Kick.wav, Lead_Vocal.wav) help a lot.
It's designed for beat-based productions — a stereo beat plus a lead vocal, or up to 4 stems total. Full mix and master included. Perfect for rap and hip hop singles where the beat is already produced and you need the final mix and master handled. Two revision rounds included.
Count each separate audio file you're sending. One vocal track is one track. Four guitar layers are four tracks. A stereo drum bus exported as one file counts as one. If you're unsure which package you need, just send me a track list before you book — I'll point you in the right direction.
All packages here include mastering because the two are better done together — the mix decisions I make are informed by where I'm taking the master. If you have a mix that's already done and only need mastering, check out the mastering page — starting at $50/track.
Revisions are included — 3 rounds on Standard and Advanced, 2 on Quick Mix. Send me notes on what you'd like adjusted and I'll revise. The goal is a mix you're genuinely proud of. Most sessions only need one or two small tweaks after the first pass.
Yes — for multi-song projects, get in touch before booking and I'll put together a package rate. EP and album sessions tend to be more efficient when we establish a consistent sound early, and the pricing reflects that. Contact me here.
