Before you send — check your mix

A well-prepped mix gives you a much better sample to compare against.

  • WAV, AIFF, or FLAC if you can. Lossless gives me the most to work with — but if an MP3 is all you have, send it and I'll do my best.
  • Export at your project's sample rate. Don't convert or downsample before sending.
  • Leave headroom. Pull the mix down if needed — no clipping, no red meters.
  • No limiter on the master bus. Take any limiter or clipper off the master channel — that's my job. A bus compressor you mixed into can stay; if you're not sure, send both versions.
  • Let it breathe. Full fade-outs and reverb tails intact; don't cut the file short.

Is this really free, no strings attached?

Yes. No credit card, no account, no automatic charge. If you like what you hear and want the full master, great. If not, no hard feelings — keep the sample.

What exactly do I get back?

A mastered section of your track — typically the first minute or a representative portion — as a 24-bit WAV. Enough to hear exactly what the full master would sound like.

My mix isn't totally finished — can I still send it?

It's worth finishing first. Mastering works best on a mix you're happy with, so the sample is more representative. Not sure it's ready? Read the export guide here.

How big a file can I send?

Up to 2 GB — full stems and long tracks are welcome. The upload happens right here on the page — no third-party service needed.
