Before & after
What actually changes when I clean a track.
Before

After
Steady hiss under the vocal
That constant top-end shhhh from a noisy preamp or budget mic. I drop the noise floor without dulling the vocal's air.
Before
→
After
60-cycle hum & ground buzz
Mains hum, fluorescent buzz, a guitar amp humming under the take. Pulled out surgically, the rest of the signal stays intact.
Before
→
After
Clicks, pops & mouth noise
Lip smacks, dry-mouth clicks, chair creaks, stray taps. Handled one by one — no broadstroke de-clicker chewing on consonants.

After
Room tone & bleed
Bedroom slap, HVAC rumble, traffic outside, headphone bleed leaking into the mic. Reduced without making the voice sound like it's in a vacuum.

How it works
Surgical, personal, fast.
1
Export your problem audio
24-bit WAV preferred, full unprocessed file. Don't pre-clean it — I'd rather hear the noise in context than guess what's hiding under a denoiser.
2
Upload and tell me what's bugging you
Send your file with the upload link in your confirmation. Hiss? Hum? Room tone? Clicks? Mouth noise? Tell me what's pulling you out of the take and I'll target that first.
3
I clean it by hand
Surgical edits, not blanket auto-processing. The goal is the noise leaves and the recording still sounds like a real recording.
4
Clean audio delivered in 24–48hrs
Drop-in WAV at your original sample rate. Three revisions included — if anything sounds off, send notes and I'll dial it back.

What I clean up
Music, voice, picture — same surgical approach.
Music vocal cleanup
Lead and BV takes from home setups — drop the hiss, kill the buzz, keep the breath.
Podcast & interview
Room tone, HVAC rumble, lavalier rustle, plosives. Cleaned without that hollow over-processed sound.
Film dialog & location sound
Production audio cleanup — wind, traffic, generator hum, set bleed. Dialog stays intelligible and natural.
Vintage restoration
Tape hiss, vinyl crackle, old cassette warble. Pull the noise floor down while keeping the era's character.
Voiceover & narration
Audiobook, ad, e-learning takes. Consistent floor across long sessions, mouth noise handled.
Field & archival
Field recordings, interviews, archival transfers. Preserve the source, remove the modern noise that ate it.
Common questions
Everything you'd want to ask first.
Broadband hiss, hum and buzz (50/60Hz mains, ground loops, fluorescent fixtures), room tone, HVAC rumble, headphone bleed, lip smacks, mouth clicks, chair creaks, stray taps, plosives, sibilance, and most location noise like traffic, wind, or set bleed. If you're not sure whether something's fixable, send the file and I'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Natural. The whole point of doing this by hand instead of running a one-click denoiser is to preserve the character of the recording. If I have to pull a noise so hard that the voice or instrument starts sounding processed, I'll tell you and we'll dial back to a believable compromise.
24-bit WAV at your session sample rate, full unprocessed file. Don't pre-clean it before sending — I want to hear the noise the way it actually lives in the recording. If all you have is an MP3 or M4A I can still work with it, but a WAV gives me a lot more room to be surgical.
Sometimes the noise and the signal share too much frequency content to separate without damaging the take. When that happens I'll tell you upfront before any money changes hands, show you the best honest result I can get, and we decide together whether it's worth shipping or whether you'd rather re-record the part. I won't oversell a fix that isn't there.
Both. $70/track for a finished bounce that needs noise removed; $70/stem when you want individual stems cleaned before they hit a mix or master. Stem cleanup is usually the better call if the noise is only on one or two sources — surgery there leaves the rest of the mix untouched.
24–48 hours on standard orders, from the time the file lands in my inbox to delivery. Rush is available if you're on a deadline — just say so when you book. Revision rounds are typically same-day or next-day.
Hear it cleaned on your own track first.
Send me the problem audio and I'll clean it up by hand for $70. If you're not sure it can be fixed, ask me first and I'll let you know.
